As a product manager (f/m/d), you will develop products that transform logistics processes through continuous discovery and delivery. This role requires an innovation-driven mindset and teamwork with Product Designers, Tech Leads, the Engineering team, Sales and Marketing. Focusing on customers and engaging with target audiences, you will lead your team to make a genuine impact. Although an individual contributor role, success depends on your ability to influence team members, colleagues, stakeholders, and executives through data-driven and logical communication.
- Develop a deep understanding of RIO’s market positioning and competition to deliver the best in the industry products - stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape related to Supply Chain Management.
- Lead the outcome-based roadmap of your product and establish shared vision to define priorities and improve the value RIO is providing to our customers.
- Involve and manage stakeholders from customers, peers, partners, and management to create and execute an aligned and continuous plan forward.
- Define product metrics and analyze results to impact our product success.
- Contribute to RIO’s overall product strategy and product development processes to deliver products that shape the RIO overall customer base.
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal and all other teams you need to successfully shape your product.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
- You are interested in contributing to the development of an entirely new business area in a startup-like environment and enjoy working in cross-functional product teams.
- Proven understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques is necessary.
Over three years of experience with technology-driven products in roles such as product manager (f/m/d) or product owner (f/m/d) is expected.
The ability to learn and understand multiple business functions, including engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing, is key.
You have the capability to solve complex problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to present your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
You’re also skilled at collaborating with engineers, designers, and company leaders.
