LogiMAT 2025

RIO shows integrated solutions for transport management and telematics

Munich, January 16, 2025. Efficient, digital and from a single source: The Munich-based software company RIO is presenting its comprehensive range of transport management and telematics products at this year's LogiMAT in Stuttgart (March 18-20, 2025, Hall 4, Stand 4A74). With a focus primarily on the needs of small and medium-sized fleets of five or more vehicles, RIO offers its customers a cloud-based complete solution that integrates vehicles across manufacturers.

RIO is putting its Transport Management System (TMS) Cartright at the center of its trade fair appearance. The system enables digital and automated handling of transport processes and comprehensive resource management. The close connection with the RIO telematics solutions gives companies the tools they need to manage their fleets in real time and increase the efficiency of their transports.

A special feature of Cartright is its easy implementation and the recently available interface to the driver app for barrier-free driver communication. The system can be seamlessly integrated into existing processes and individually adapted, regardless of the size of the fleet. The RIO telematics solutions can be added on a daily basis and without a long-term contract. The cross-manufacturer integration makes it possible to monitor tractors, trailers and vans of different brands via a central platform. There is no need for complex retrofitting, as RIO works with existing interfaces. Currently, working on the RIO map is already possible for almost all well-known European truck and trailer manufacturers with identical data.

RIO's solutions also enable employees to access all relevant data from any location. This transparency reduces the time spent on administrative activities, optimizes workflows and saves costs. With the RIO platform, fleet managers can digitize transport processes and use real-time data to respond more quickly to changes or problems.

"Digitization is not a luxury for large companies, but a decisive factor in remaining competitive even as a small company. With RIO, we make these possibilities tangible and practical for everyone," emphasizes Jan Kaumanns, CEO at RIO.

RIO is also bringing a special feature for the Pocket Driver driver app to the trade fair: With "Order Communication", RIO enables a connection to any common transport management system (TMS) and is a solution for companies that already have a TMS in use but still have to use the telephone to communicate with drivers. This gives dispatchers and drivers real-time access to all essential order data.

The Pocket Driver app, in combination with Order Communication, acts as a direct interface to dispatch. This not only allows dispatchers to keep an eye on their current tours at all times, but also offers extensive information on the load - from quantity and material to weight and dimensions to the load carriers used. The solution is complemented by versatile communication options, detailed status messages and a tour-related chat that facilitates communication between drivers and dispatchers in the local language and automatically translates conversations.
