Munich, March 4, 2024 - Munich-based software company RIO has appointed Christopher Busch (38) as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect. His future responsibilities will include accounting, controlling, taxes and legal affairs. He succeeds Stefan Heymann, who is assuming a management position in China.
Busch has longstanding and global expertise in the automotive industry as well as in the software sector. The business administration graduate started his professional career at Ernst & Young accountancy firm in Munich. In 2012, he switched to the automotive industry. After positions in accounting at AUDI in Ingolstadt, Busch became project coordinator in the finance department of Audi's new production facility in Mexico and the newly founded company Audi México S.A. de C.V. in 2013. In addition, he built up the newly founded Audi subsidiary Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH (later Argo AI GmbH) from 2017, a development company in the field of autonomous driving in urban environments. Most recently, he was Head of Finance at Argo AI's European headquarters in Munich.
