Munich, February 3, 2026 – Effective January 1, 2026, Daniel Ruppert has assumed the position of Managing Director at RIO, an expert in freight forwarding software. The TRATON GROUP company has thus appointed a proven specialist in digitalization and IT strategy who will significantly shape the further development of RIO's ecosystem and the digital transformation of the transport and logistics industry.
Daniel Ruppert has more than twelve years of experience in leadership positions within MAN Truck & Bus SE. During this time, he was responsible for digital transformation and developed innovative solutions for customers and partners. Most recently, Daniel Ruppert served as Vice President and Head of Customer Service IT at MAN Truck & Bus SE. There, he managed global digital solutions for customer service and implemented strategic IT initiatives. Previously, as Vice President and Head of Retail Applications, he led the global IT division for retail applications and was responsible for developing digital products at MAN Truck & Bus SE.
