Munich, May 16, 2025. From June 2 to 5, 2025, transport logistic will open its doors in Munich. As the world’s leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management, it brings together international industry experts and decision-makers to discuss innovative technologies and current challenges. This year, RIO will be exhibiting in Hall B1 (Booth 405/506) together with co-exhibitor MAN Truck & Bus, placing a special focus on its Supply Chain Orchestration Platform (SCOP) as a solution now also aimed at shippers.
With its holistic Supply Chain Orchestration Platform (SCOP), RIO targets shippers, suppliers, and carriers in the road freight sector. The goal is to drastically reduce the complexity of logistics processes, sustainably lower freight costs, and seamlessly connect all stakeholders across the supply chain – from the supplier and carrier to the end customer. The key highlight at the trade fair: RIO is expanding its portfolio beyond its existing telematics solutions and the carrier TMS Cartright with new, integrated functions for end-to-end digital supply chain management.
RIO’s solution provides a comprehensive digital overview of the transport cycle – from material disposition and transport planning to execution and tracking. Through modular solution components on the platform, suppliers, carriers, and customers can be seamlessly integrated, enabling a fully digital representation of the entire logistics chain. The platform allows suppliers and shippers to manage complex delivery call-offs, automate shipment consolidation, generate shipping data, and directly connect with carriers. Additionally, the system supports coordination of packaging requirements, unloading points, and transport time slots, ensuring maximum transparency and efficiency in the supply chain.
A key innovation advantage: Shippers gain end-to-end shipment visibility down to the material level and benefit from the maximum automation of core process steps – on both the supplier and carrier sides. This not only helps reduce transport costs but also enhances the resilience of the entire logistics chain.
“RIO connects all players along the supply chain. We enable collaboration on a single platform – regardless of whether you’re a shipper, supplier, or fleet operator,” explains RIO CEO Jan Kaumanns. “For shippers in particular, a connected solution is essential for managing complex supply chains reliably and economically,” he adds.
In addition to the Supply Chain Orchestration Platform, RIO is also showcasing its Transport Management System Cartright at the trade fair. Designed specifically for transport service providers, it offers an easy entry point into the digitalization and automation of transport processes. The in-house telematics platform complements the offering with brand-independent vehicle connectivity and extensive data analytics for optimized fleet management – regardless of manufacturer.
Co-exhibitor MAN Truck & Bus will also present proven digital services for efficient fleet management. Among the offerings from the MAN DigitalServices portfolio are the Perform and MAN SimplePay services. MAN SimplePay helps manage en-route operating expenses for trucks of all brands more easily. In addition, drivers can handle contactless fueling and parking transactions at selected acceptance points using the MAN Driver App. With Perform, fleet operators receive detailed vehicle analyses and comparable driver evaluations, enabling them to identify inefficient driving behavior.
The trade fair partnership with MAN Truck & Bus underlines the strong integration of both portfolios within a powerful corporate group: “Combining the strengths of the renowned commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN and our innovative software company enables a collaboration that delivers groundbreaking solutions for the transport and logistics industry,” Jan Kaumanns continues.
transport logistic offers RIO the ideal platform to engage with trade visitors from around the world and showcase forward-looking solutions for an increasingly complex logistics environment.
