In our growing Shipper Digitalization division, we are developing a cloud-based supply chain platform for a more sustainable logistics ecosystem between shippers, carriers and suppliers by seamlessly connecting these parties with their logistics business partners on our Process-as-a-Service platform.

Your tasks

  • You develop innovative sales strategies for the European market, identify promising market opportunities, and implement creative concepts for our still young business area in Supplier and Transportation Management.
  • You manage the entire sales cycle from target customer identification to successful closure.
  • You don't just sell finished products, but offer a comprehensive solution tailored to the customer’s specific requirements, taking into account new, strategically relevant portfolio additions.
  • You actively maintain relationships with potential customers, recognize their needs, and assess their potential to achieve successful closures.
  • You create compelling PowerPoint presentations with business leads and pre-sales teams, clearly highlighting the added value of our solutions for the customers.
  • You conduct dynamic presentations – both in person and remotely – with detailed product demonstrations, supported by tailored pre-sales and software consulting.
  • You work closely with product management to ensure a deep and up-to-date understanding of our applications and the development roadmap.
  • You ensure a smooth transition for customers to the Solutions Delivery Team once the sale is completed.

Your skills

  • With over 5 years of experience in new customer acquisition in Supplier and/or Transportation Management, you bring proven sales experience.
  • You have a good market understanding, the relevant network, and are familiar with software market segments such as Transport Management Systems, Supplier Relationship Management Systems, and Real-Time Transportation Visibility.
  • You possess a strong "hunter" mentality, proactively identifying qualified prospects and have a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
  • You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and can create and deliver compelling presentations for a variety of audiences – from technical experts to executives.
  • You are a self-motivated, creative doer with a natural urge to constantly learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a rapidly changing technology field.
  • You are willing to travel and can operate both nationally and internationally.
  • You possess fluent written and spoken German and English skills.
